Living and working in Dubbo, Western NSW, my world is full of inspiration which is pushing my art making to the next level.  I have loved creating art for as long as I can remember.  As a child growing up in regional Australia, I recall always having this inner urge to make or create something. My deepest desire was always to become an artist.

Upon leaving school, despite my creative yearnings, I was encouraged to take a more practical path, attending business college. Always jumping at opportunities to take any available art classes or workshops, I attended TAFE for a number of years, studying Visual Arts.

Art took a back seat for some years while I raised my children and worked in the family business with my husband. In 2020 in a crazy changing world, finding more time on my hands than usual, I revived my passion for painting and started studying with the Milan Art Institute. Having graduated from the Mastery Program, I am now working as a professional artist!

With an innate love of experimenting and creating, I am predominantly a mixed media artist and play with many different materials, including inks, spray paint, makers, crayons, collage, acrylic and finishing off with a refining layer of oils.

My style can be best described as abstract realism. I create with lots of colour, working with many layers. My subjects, whether they are birds, animals or portraits are bold and begin with a lot of initial loose energy, coming together at the end with the gorgeous oil paints, giving depth and more details. I love finding the personality in my subjects and bringing them to life in amongst the abstract marks and colours. 

The vibrant artworks I create will bring your space a joyful and free vibe and I know you will love the positivity they exude.

I work now in my home based studio creating artworks that are true to me. Art is my happy place.
